1. Who We Are
Kyntix ("Kyntix", "we", "us" or "our") is an IT services company based in Mohali, Punjab, India. We design and build websites, mobile applications, and digital products, and we provide UI/UX design and digital marketing services.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit kyntix.tech (the "Website"), contact us, or work with us as a client. By using the Website or sharing information with us, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, email us, call us, or message us on LinkedIn, we collect what you choose to share, which may include:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your company or organisation name
- The type of project you're interested in, and your message
- Any files, requirements, or briefs you send us
Information from client engagements. If you become a client, we also process business contact details, billing and invoicing details, contracts, and project communications. While building your product we may be given access to your systems, content, or data; we handle that data only on your instructions (see Client Project Data).
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting server records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, and the date and time of the request. We use this for security and to keep the Website running properly.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, financial account, or biometric information) through the Website. Please don't send it to us unless it's needed for an agreed project.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiries and send quotes or proposals you ask for
- Plan, deliver, and support the services you engage us for
- Manage contracts, invoicing, and payments
- Keep the Website secure and prevent fraud or misuse
- Improve our Website and services
- Meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
We process your information because you gave it to us for a specific purpose (your consent), because we need it to enter into or perform a contract with you, or where the law requires or allows it. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't send you marketing emails unless you've agreed to receive them.
6. Client Project Data
When we build or maintain a product for you, you may give us access to data about your own customers or users. For that data, you are the data owner (the "Data Fiduciary") and we act on your behalf as a service provider (the "Data Processor"). We will:
- Use it only to deliver the agreed services and follow your written instructions
- Keep it confidential and limit access to people who need it for the project
- Protect it with reasonable security measures
- Return or delete it when the engagement ends, unless the law requires otherwise
The specific terms for handling client data are set out in your project agreement, which takes priority over this section if the two differ.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiries that don't turn into a project are usually deleted within 24 months. Client records, contracts, and invoices are kept for as long as Indian tax and company laws require. After that, we delete or anonymise the information.
8. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls, and secure development practices. You can read more on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we'll notify you and the relevant authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires it.
9. Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
- Ask us to correct, complete, or update your information
- Ask us to delete your information when it's no longer needed
- Withdraw your consent at any time (this won't affect processing already done)
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated
If you live outside India, for example in the EU, UK, or California, you may have similar rights under your local laws. To make a request, email info@kyntix.tech. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we'll reply within 30 days.
10. International Transfers
We're based in India and serve clients worldwide. Your information may be stored or processed in India or in other countries where our service providers operate. When we transfer data, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected in line with this policy and applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
